2007
Day 1:
4:30-5:30PM: Arrival at Cortina Inn and Resort with a greeting from the Innkeeper. Enjoy fresh baked
treats along with coffee and tea. Dinner reservations will be taken as you arrive.
5:30pm Time for the wine and cheese seminar and tasting in the Rutland Room. Our Dining Room Manager or the Innkeeper will talk about and conduct a tasting of three wines from our extensive wine cellar. He will tell you about the origin and history of cheese making and you will taste some including the famous aged Vermont cheddar cheese.
6pm: Full choice of menu dinner in Zola’s Grille.
Day 2,
7:00am: Enjoy a Hearty Vermont Buffet Breakfast in Zola’s Grille
8:30am: Depart with local guide for touring.
10:00 Arrive at the Vermont Teddy Factory and see how Vermont Teddy Bears are born.
12PM: ` Full lunch buffet at the Trapp Family Lodge, home of the “Sound of Music Family”
1:30pm Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory Tour -
3PM: Montpelier State Capital Building – Photo Stop – the smallest capital in the U.S.
5:00pm Cookie time at Cortina. We will be serving great tasting sweets and refreshments in Centre Courte.
6:30 PM: Another full choice of menu dinner in Zola’s Grille awaits you.
Day 3,
7-8:30am: Enjoy a Hearty Vermont Buffet Breakfast in Zola’s Grille
9:00am Approximate departure: You will head home with fond memories of Vermont and
Cortina Inn and Resort
Rates are per person and include 2 nights lodging, 2 hearty Vermont buffet breakfasts, 2 full choice of menu dinners, admission to attractions, wine and cheese tasting, gifts, portage, room and meal gratuities.
Complimentary policy: the 21st and 42nd guests will receive full complimentary packages.
