Feb 1, 2011: From cleanliness to friendliness our experience was better than anyone can expect. The willingness to accomodate any and all requests was second to none and was always accompanied by a smile. Hats of to the entire staff, from the owner on down Feb 6, 2011: The hotel has many recent updates, with a new restaurant opening this month. The rooms were extremely clean. The continental breakfast was generous, with complimentary made to order omelets. The staff was friendly. The lobby with large fire places was really cozy, with many families playing games together. The hotel was a great value for the price. We would not hesitate to stay here again. “Exceptional and personable service in a warm atmosphere!!!” Feb 9, 2011: This was my second stay at the Cortina and it was even better. The Inn is close to all the skiing and is a great place to relax afterwards. The family that owns the Inn are spectacular and are always on top of things. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish. As for the food...... It was delicious!!! Great pricing for the rooms and the food. Feb 20, 2011: Go for the food and the fireplace! There is a newly reopened restaurant on the premises. The chef is talented and personable. Each entree we tried was excellent. Comfortable seating around a real fireplace was quite relaxing. Nice to stay under one roof after a day of skiing! Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was polite and accommodating. The place had a New England kind of charm. They are in the process of remodeling, but the area that is open to the public is great. Give this place a try you'll be pleasantly surprised. Feb 26, 2011: My husband and I traveled from PA for a long Valentine weekend ski trip to beautiful Killington, VT. We were greeted warmly upon check in to the Inn. That comfortable welcoming atmosphere continued throughout our stay. The owner and his staff were accommodating, responding to our every request. Our room was all new and decorated in a luxury rustic manner, exactly what we like in a ski vacation!! The mattress was soooo comfortable. The bathroom was fully renovated; tile, elevated vanity, rounded shower curtain bar, and lighting. After a full day on the slopes, we enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub before showering to go to dinner. Valentine's Day dinner was in the hotel dining room. The cost was extremely reasonable. Chef Patrick prepared an amazing selection of entrees. And the dessert, Red Velvet Cheesecake, our choice, was phenomenal (and huge.) I finished it after we returned home to PA!! LOL!! The location of the resort was so very convenient, close to slopes and businesses on the access road and close to all that Rutland has to offer as well. The cost, too, was very reasonable, especially when a continental and made to order breakfast was included. I would highly recommend the Cortina Inn to my friends and family and plan to make a Valentine weekend trip there a yearly tradition!! Mar 16, 2011: Hotel was clean, restaurant food was good, free buffet breakfast was good, pool was warm and clean, totally a nice resort and redone, as I had stayed there years and years ago. Well worth the discounted rate we paid(the special 3 day rate),and we will go back. Mar 24, 2011: We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Cortina Hotel and Resort to anyone . Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent beds, our meal at the restaurant was delicious as was the full breakfast buffet included in our reasonable price. We will be back! The hotel is under new management and is PET FRIENDLY. Devon C of Windham,CT |
